Tundra (2007-2021) Front Bump Stops

Adding bump stops to the front suspension is arguably the best bang for the buck on all the Toyota platforms.  We weren't happy with the current options available so we went to the drawing board and started from scratch.  Under heavy use we have seen plenty of bump stops rip clean off the mount where the metal mounting plate is bonded to the rubber bump stop!

Our solution was to completely redesign the way the rubber was bonded to the metal mounting washer.  We started with a solid chunk of 2" steel and then machined the mounting washer into a two tiered design that incorporates casting holes.  Our billet mounting washers are cast into the urethane bump stops and the casting holes ensure the urethane is permanently bonded to the mounting washer.  Speaking of urethane we did a ton of testing in an effort to come up with the most ideal compound.  We ultimately decided on going with a "non rebounding" 80 durometer urethane. The 80 durometer urethane provided excellent bottom out control while still being soft enough to prevent any limitation in articulation.
